WG-Terrein, Ketelhuisplein 41
For Young Buddhists! Using improvisation and reflection to move away from modes of relating based on control, on power over others, and find new ways to meet, be-with, allowing flow, and letting others, nature, diversity and life flow through us.
The world asks us to change. So many crises are showing us, that the way we are living is not sustainable. How can we find new ways of being and interacting, and at the same time avoid the polarisation of ‘us’ and ‘them’? – We will use exercises coming from movement and dance improvisation to help us research ways of meeting that are not built on power or control, but on listening to diversity, and allowing space for all that occurs and can add to the richness of the world. No experience of movement or improvisation is required
Jayachitta enjoys using the practice of body-based methods, like improvisation, to help deepen the experience of meditation and attending to the mind. She lives in Berlin and was ordained in the Triratna Buddhist Order thirty years ago.
