Remembrance of Urgyen Sangharakhita

A year has passed since Bhante, Urgyen Sangharakshita died. This will be remembered worldwide in Triratna and of course also in the Amsterdam Buddhist Centre. We’ll be doing this in the following way:

Opportunity to share something about your personal connection with Bhante/Urgyen Sangharakshita: memories; anecdotes; Dharma taught by him; effect on you, etcetera.
20:00 Meditation – metta bhavana
20:30 Threefold Puja with poems and mantras
Bhante requested the following mantra’s to be recited after his death: Shakyamuni, Green Tara, Manjushri, Amitabha and Padmasambhava
Bring your favourite text or poem, written by Bhante, so it can be read out in the puja, or look it up at the start of the evening in the library at the Centre.
Who can help make tea and help to make sure the Centre looks all nice again after the event?
