Activity: Introduction to Buddhism and Meditation
25 april 2026 @ 10:00 – 13:00

About the activity
In a world facing uncertainty, division, and growing pressure on our mental wellbeing, Buddhism offers a simple but powerful invitation: to become part of the solution rather than the problem.
It suggests that real change begins within — by understanding our minds, cultivating awareness, and learning to respond to life with greater clarity and compassion.
This half-day introduction offers a practical and inspiring taste of the Buddha’s teaching and meditation. Through his life story and core ideas such as the Three Lakṣaṇas, the Four Noble Truths, and karma, we’ll explore how ancient wisdom can help us navigate the challenges of modern life.
No prior experience needed — just curiosity and an openness to explore.
About the program
The session is 3 hours long and includes a short break, with a balance of meditation, input, reflection and discussion.
It’s suitable for complete beginners and for those of you who meditate with us on the Tuesday evenings.
