SUMMARY:Course: Exploring the Tibetan Wheel of Life [ENG]
DESCRIPTION:About the Theme:\n\n\n\nThe Wheel of Life is an ancient Tibetan symbol and a visual representation of many Buddhist teachings. It is a depiction of the Buddhist view of the universe and addresses the meaning of life itself. The Wheel illustrates the causes of suffering and dissatisfaction in all existence and offers insight into the path to liberation. \n\n\n\nThis profound symbol acts as a mirror\, reflecting our inner world. Each time we engage with it\, we uncover deeper insights about ourselves and our lives. By studying the Wheel of Life\, we can learn about our patterns\, better understand our behaviors\, and discover ways to overcome the challenges we face. \n\n\n\nIn this course\, we will explore the many layers of the Wheel of Life and its teachings in detail\, providing an opportunity for profound self-discovery and personal growth. \n\n\n\nProgram Highlights:\n\n\n\nIn addition to exploring the intricacies of the Wheel of Life\, participants will engage in two foundational meditations: \n\n\n\nMindfulness of Breathing: Enhance concentration and cultivate inner calm.Metta Bhavana (Loving-Kindness): Develop positive emotions and nurture compassion for yourself and others.\n\n\n\nThese practices will complement the theoretical teachings\, creating a balanced and transformative experience. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPractical information\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDates and Time:\n\n\n\nThursdays: June 5\, 12\, 19\, and 26 \n\n\n\n7:00 PM – 9:00 PM(19:00 – 21:00 uur) \n\n\n\nWho Should Attend?\n\n\n\nThis course is open to everyone—whether you’re new to Buddhism or have been practicing for years—who is interested in deepening their understanding of Buddhist teachings and the Wheel of Life. \n\n\n\nLanguage:\n\n\n\nThe course will be conducted in English. \n\n\n\nRegistration and Questions:\n\n\n\nRegister by emailing info@bcatriratna.nl.For more information\, you can also reach out to the same email address. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho Leads the Course?\n\n\n\nKsantivadin\, a seasoned meditation practitioner\, will guide this course.
