Themadag met Karunatara: Money Awakening is money the root poison of all evil? [NL/ENG]

Over de activiteit
Money is a force or energy in our lives and so in our Dharma life, but how aware are we of its effect on us, our Sangha and our worldwide movement? Greed, in the form of money, is a strong root poison; so often our relationship to money mirrors our relationship to life. Looking at the antidote generosity, in the form of dana as the first Samgrahavastu, can help us to free up ourselves and our societal sense of lack.
Over het programma
During this interactive workshop we will look at our Money Archetypes and own money life stories, helping us to examine the beliefs we hold about money and its power over our behaviour:
- What is your first money memory?
- What conditionings about money have been handed down to you by society, our family and friends?
- What major life events have shaped your attitude to money?
There will also be meditation, time for reflection and ritual.

Wie leidt de activiteit
Karunatara, based in Manchester UK, has had a rich and creative career working with a wide variety of clients to enable abundance in both the arts and commercial sectors. Choosing to step into a Team Based Right Livelihood in 2023 she now fundraises to spread the dharma for Triratna globally through FutureDharmaFund, whose aim is to help create a culture of greater confidence, abundance and generosity in relation to money. She believes by ensuring that more and more people have access to the Dharma, as Sangharakshita our founder presented it, we can positively influence the world together.
