Join us live from the big centenary retreat at Adhisthana as we celebrate and reflect on the life of our teacher and founder on his 100th Birthday. A mix of special online-only events and opportunities to practise as part of this great gathering of Triratna friends!
About the program
The 2 online sessions offered:
- Session 2: Through Which Reality Shines & Abundant Treasures (12:00 – 01:00 PM )
Online: Writing and publishing made up a huge part of Sangharakshita’s life and work. In this session we hear from the people behind two new books that bring new life to his words.
Session 3: Reimagining Buddhism: Understanding Sangharakshita and his Teachings (03:00 – 04:00 PM)
Online: We hear from Vishvapani, author of the recently published Reimagining Buddhism, an in-depth exploration of Sangharakshita’s life and teachings. The book provides a comprehensive account of his understanding of Buddhism, tracing the influences that shaped his teachings, life as a scholar-monk, and his development of a global Buddhist movement.
